The Kumon math program is designed to improve the math skills of students at all levels. Children often experience difficulty with advanced math classes because they have not fully mastered basic calculations. The Kumon Method develops proficiency at all levels to provide students with the solid foundation they need to advance successfully and confidently through their school's math curriculum.

Kumon is a training program akin to music and sport training. Accuracy and speed are the main criteria for measuring the mastery of skill levels and Kumon students acquire these skills through 10~30 minutes of daily exercises working on a packet of 5~10 worksheets. As the student progresses through the program, the worksheets introduce new concepts and gradually help the child master basic and complex math through repetition and self-motivated learning.
